Black Einstein

Black Einstein is the musical pseudonym of London producer and musician Colin Emmanuel, who has produced for a variety of internationally respected artists including Eric Roberson, Estelle, Jamelia, The Beta Band, Nate James, Daniel DeBourg, Tawiah and Beverly Knight. Ready to break out of the studio whilst recording his new EP and album, it is now time to do what he was created to do: play live.
Collaborating with a host of talented musicians centered around producer Colin Emmanuel, the Black Einstein experience builds on his previous solo release, Emmanuel D’llusions of Grandeur, whilst developing on the raw energy of live music. The Black Einstein live show showcases the immaculate musicianship of the band, generating a soulful funk reflecting a spectrum of music (incorporating elements of funk, soul, R&B, Hip Hop and rock) adored by audiences and artists alike.
Getting ready to drop a Black Einstein album at the end of 2010, featuring guests such as De La Soul and Eric Roberson, Black Einstein is preparing to release an EP this Spring inspired by and incorporating the music of David Bowie, titled Whatever Happened To Major Tom?. Featuring Xavior (well respected and sought after vocalist), Baby Sol (Paloma Faith and Rox), Mystro and Maseo from De La Soul, Whatever Happened To Major Tom? will be available for free download from www.blackeinstein.co.uk in the coming months. Consider it a taster of the album to follow…
